DAY 1 Japan - Zurich, Switzerland
Board your international flight in the Japan and relax on your overnight journey to Zurich, located on the banks of the River Limmat and the north end of Lake Zurich in northern Switzerland.
DAY 2 Zurich
Arrive in Zurich, Switzerland's vibrant city, where stunning alpine landscapes blend with urban sophistication. After meeting your guide, enjoy a smooth transfer to your hotel. After settling in, enjoy free time to explore, shop the world-famous Bahnhofstrasse, or unwind by the peaceful shores of Lake Zurich.

DAY 3 Zurich - Embarkation - Basel
Begin your day through Zurich’s most enchanting neighborhoods and landmarks. Explore the historic Old Town, where centuries of history come alive amid charming streets and timeless architecture. Photo stop at the impressive Town Hall (Stadthaus), the iconic Grossmünster church, and the elegant Fraumünster church, each with its own story to tell about the city’s rich heritage. Take in stunning views of the winding Limmat River from the peaceful hilltop of Lindenhof Park, a serene spot to soak in the scenery.
In the late afternoon, board your Rhine River cruise ship. After settling comfortably into your cabin, meet the friendly crew over a welcome cocktail, and enjoy dinner on board as your journey begins.

DAY 4 Breisach, Germany
This morning, enjoy some free time to explore the city at your own pace. (Important note: When the ship is not moored near Breisach and you would like a transfer to Breisach, the price of the transfer will be €25 per person. This must be reserved and paid on board. In the afternoon, join us for a Guided tour of Colmar and the Unterlinden Museum*. Bursting with color and Alsatian charm, Colmar is a true delight. We’ll spend time wandering through the romantic Little Venice neighborhood before visiting the museum. The Unterlinden’s collection spans 7,000 years, from prehistoric artifacts to modern art. Its most celebrated masterpiece is the polyptych created by Niclaus of Haguenau and Matthias Grünewald. After our excursion, join us for dinner and an evening of entertainment.

DAY 5 Breisach - Strasbourg, France
Spend your morning gliding along the gentle curves of the Rhine, with views of vineyard-covered hills stretching across the Vosges Mountains, the Black Forest, and the Alsatian plains.
Later, join a scenic Boat tour of Strasbourg*, a city where history and beauty flow together. Visit its magnificent Cathedral*, a masterpiece of Gothic architecture. (Please note: Interior visits not allowed on Sundays and during religious services; in such cases, commentary will be offered from outside.) As you explore, discover a city where charming half-timbered houses from the Middle Ages stand alongside striking modern designs, a vivid reflection of Strasbourg’s unique position at the crossroads of French and German cultures.
In the evening, gather in the lounge for music and dancing. Our ship will gently continue its journey toward Mainz.

DAY 6 Mainz, Germany - Koblenz
Upon arrival, we’ll enjoy a Guided walking tour of Mainz*, beginning with a visit to its impressive cathedral, a stunning example of Romanesque architecture that has stood for over a thousand years and witnessed the coronation of German kings. Wander through the charming streets of the Old Town, arriving at the celebrated Gutenberg Museum*. Dedicated to Johannes Gutenberg, Mainz’s most famous son. His invention of the movable-type printing press in the 15th century sparked a global revolution in communication and learning.
In the afternoon, relax on board as we cruise through the romantic Rhine Valley. Gaze out at the scenic vineyards, castle ruins, and riverside villages, leading us to the legendary Lorelei Rock. Enjoy dinner on board, and then visit the city in the cozy evening.

DAY 7 Koblenz - Cologne - Düsseldorf
This morning, we begin cruising toward Cologne, gliding past the riverside towns of Andernach, Königswinter, and Bonn. As the ship approaches Cologne, catch a view of the Seven Hills (Siebengebirge), steeped in myths and legends that have inspired generations of storytellers.
Upon arrival in Cologne by late morning, join a Guided tour of Cologne*, a city that has stood at the heart of Europe since the Middle Ages. Marvel at the exterior of the awe-inspiring Cologne Cathedral, the tallest twin-spire church in the world and Germany’s most visited landmark. Continue through the charming Old Town, passing by the famed Farina Fragrance Museum, and pause to admire its elegant exterior and the heritage it represents. Enjoy free time to explore at your leisure before returning to the ship. A coach will transfer you to Düsseldorf. Tonight is our festive gala evening.

DAY 8 Düsseldorf - Nijmegen, Netherlands - Amsterdam
After breakfast, set out to explore the Dutch Open-Air Museum of Arnhem*, a delightful journey into the everyday life of the Netherlands through the centuries. Wander among 80 lovingly preserved buildings, from windmills and farmhouses to village schools and timber-framed homes from Limburg. Admire the charming green wooden houses of the Zaan region, with their ornate gables and timeworn character. Stroll at your own pace or hop aboard an authentic tram for a relaxed ride through this living museum.
As you enjoy your visit, the ship continues its gentle journey to Nijmegen. We’ll rejoin the ship there and begin our cruise toward Amsterdam. In the evening, join us for dinner and an evening of entertainment.

This morning, join the Amsterdam tour by riverboat*. This tour provides an overview of the many historical treasures and curiosities of the Dutch capital. A fascinating and dynamic city where the old and the modern coexist harmoniously, Amsterdam is rich in history, art, and culture, with surprises around every corner. During the boat ride along the picturesque canals, classified as a UNESCO World Heritage site, you can admire the unique architecture, from the many narrow houses with gables and seventeenth-century mansions to the magnificent bridges spanning the canals, creating an extraordinary urban landscape.
In the afternoon, explore with our Guided tour of Haarlem*, a charming town known as the “Flower City,” just west of Amsterdam. Stroll its cobblestone streets, admire gabled houses, and soak in Dutch tradition and elegance.

DAY 10 Amsterdam
Enjoy one final buffet breakfast on board before disembarking at 9:00 am. Continue your discovery of Amsterdam with a photo-friendly tour, pausing at some of the city’s most iconic landmarks. Stroll through the famous Red Light District, please note its strict no-photography policy, observed out of respect for the area’s privacy and heritage. Visit a diamond factory to learn about Amsterdam’s world-renowned cutting techniques, followed by charming stops at traditional cheese and wooden clog workshops, each rich in local tradition. Make your way to Museumplein for a guided tour of the Rijksmuseum*, home to Dutch masterpieces, including Rembrandt’s iconic The Night Watch, a fitting finale to your journey through culture, craft, and history.
Later, return to your hotel for a relaxing dinner shared with fellow travelers.
